Basic Rates and Limits
A few significant rates and limits for 2009 are
listed below:
- Business equipment expense deduction = $250,000
- Standard mileage rate = 55.0 cents/mile
- Profit Sharing (SEP-IRA) Contribution Limits – 25% of compensation up $49,000
- 401(k) Employee Contribution Limit - $16,500 with additional $5,500 for over age 50
- Base corporate tax rates are 15% of the first $50,000 then 25% of the next $25,000.
