Byron E. Van Dyke

Byron is a 1968 graduate of the University of Kansas, with a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in accounting. He has experience in auditing for a national CPA firm, corporate accounting management for a “Fortune 50” company, and has practiced as a tax preparer and accountant for small businesses since 1990.

He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor. He actively continues his professional education by attendance at various seminars conducted by the University of Illinois, the Illinois CPA society, and others. Contact with the business community is maintained by membership in the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Breakfast Club of Oak Brook.

“Bud” is a resident of south suburban Lockport and a member of New Life Church in New Lenox. He was previously very involved at Christ Church of OakBrook where he was an elder and leader in the church’s adult education ministries. He also served as a mentor for young high school men in the church’s confirmation process. Golf, reading, and most recently digital photography occupy his spare time.
