Start-up Businesses
We work closely with new start-up businesses, providing necessary registrations and State of Illinois incorporations. Starting a business from the ground up requires knowing your product and having basic business management skills. Assistance is also provided in effectively managing the financial aspects of your new business right from the start.

• The appropriate legal formation and tax elections will be evaluated with you.
• Necessary Federal and State registrations will be filed and we can incorporate your business as well.
• An accounting system will be suggested that is both effective and cost efficient.
• Assistance can be provided to document the viability of your business proposal.

QuickBooks® Setup
We provide installation assistance to new users of QuickBooks®. Setting up QuickBooks® for the first time or for a new application (like payroll) requires both knowledge of your business and the accounting software. Selecting the start date, gathering information, and properly creating accounts, items, and other lists are just a few of the tasks that must be done properly for a correct setup.
The EasyStep Interview in QuickBooks® walks you through the basic setup of a QuickBooks® file. However, the main purpose of this process is to simply help the new user get started. If your business is new this may suffice, but if you have an established business with numerous customers, vendors, employees, and products you will find our assistance to be very beneficial.

QuickBooks® Training and Consultation
Please look to us when you have a new employee who requires a short training session to use QuickBooks®, you need assistance to customize QuickBooks® for a unique need, or simply want to get more out of the software. We offer training and consultation services that is tailored to fit your specific need.
The QuickBooks® Learning Center (located on the help menu) offers two-dozen brief tutorials on various applications. QuickBooks® also offers both on-line seminars and CD-Rom based training for fees ranging from $100 to $250.

We conduct seminars at various times during the year. These seminars emphasize our real world experiences as accountants and QuickBooks® users. Support Service Fees

• Start-up Services are billed at $100/hour and would typically total about $300 including incorporation. This total excludes proposal analysis and filing fees.
• QuickBooks® Setup services are billed at two rates. Analysis time is billed at $90/hour and clerical efforts for file setup are billed at $40/hour.
• QuickBooks® training (education) or consultation time (i.e. customizing or problem solving) are billed at $90/hour.
• QuickBooks® half-day seminars cost $90.
